Based on the success of the Viper 7’ 6-8kg, customer feedback initiated our design team into action for a new model in the Nitro Tournament range. The Vipers taper design was perfect but being 6-8kg was an over kill on inshore species like snapper etc on soft plastics. We therefore designed the 7’ Baby Viper – Custom Plastic 3-6kg with casting weight 9-40g. This rods fast taper allows every twitch and flick to be transferred directly to your sub surface lure when using modern day non stretch braided lines. Extensive testing was done in the battlefields of South Australia’s snapper capital of Arno Bay. Feedback was extremely encouraging and the results were outstanding. Utilising our Class A High Impact defence grade graphite and FUJI Alconite guides these rods will fill a hole in our range to suit the plastics fanatics.
