Side or Rear Mounting
Unlike a fixed-orientation awning, the Freestanding 180 EXR can be configured for side or rear mounting to suit your vehicle setup and campsite layout. Two height-adjustable mounting brackets are included, making installation straightforward and allowing the awning to be positioned to suit vehicle heights from 1400mm to 2600mm. The short backing plate design is purpose-suited to dual cab utes and other vehicles with limited roof rack real estate.
4 Built-in Dual-Colour Dimmable LED Strips
Four integrated LED strips provide full coverage lighting across the canopy, with dual-colour dimmable control so you can adjust brightness and tone to suit the situation, whether you're setting up after dark, cooking dinner or relaxing under the awning in the evening. No clipping on external lights or running cables from the vehicle.
Integrated RTT Entry Hatch
An in-built roof top tent entry hatch with waterproof zips allows direct access between your rooftop tent and the awning canopy, creating a more integrated camp setup and keeping the weather out when moving between your sleeping space and the camp area below.

The canopy is built from 220gsm ripstop polycotton canvas with a 3000mm waterhead rating and UPF 50+ sun protection, housed in a 1680D polyester oxford transit cover when packed. Four leg poles, pegs and guy ropes are all included for stable freestanding setup at camp.

For greater protection and privacy, the Freestanding 180 EXR is compatible with a full wraparound wall set and inner wall set (sold separately), allowing you to fully enclose the canopy and create a sheltered room or annex at camp.
