While not to be confused with hardwood pellets, Camp Chef Chunks are not to be dumped in the pellet grill hopper. Chunks are safe to use in all electric smokers, gas and charcoal grills with the addition of a Smoke Tube or Smoke Box (found on the XXL Pro and Woodwind Pro.) Some Electric Smokers may have a compatible chip tray.
The kiln dried process creates low moisture content for a very dry, hot burning chunk. This means it burns less to maintain your desired temperature, giving you more Chunks for your next barbecue and less ash to clean.
