The seven models in the new line-up of premium Shimano Instage concept rods cover a wide range of fishing options: from medium light to medium heavy spin and baitcaster models up to a very gutsy heavy duty baitcaster well suited to tackling Murray cod and Barra. These classy looking Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Shimano Instage rods with their charcoal blanks, under-stated blue bindings and top-quality cork grips feature high modulus Spiral X-Core blanks and Carbon Monocoque butts for the ultimate in balance and extreme sensitivity combined with strength and durability. They carry strong but lightweight Shimano cold forged titanium X Guides* throughout and are fitted with robust CI4+ reel seats.
