Cook up a storm on the Series 2 or Big Pig with the Ozpig Wok. Constructed with steel, this wok offers cooking versatility from stir fries to deep frying.
Dimensions: Dia 27L x 8Hcm
Dimensions (including handle): 44.5L x 27W x 12.5Hcm
Weight: 800g
Material: Steel
Preparation: Before using the wok, remove the clear protective coating from the inside of the bowl. Place the wok on the hob, pour approximately 2 teaspoons of cooking oil over the entire surface of the inside of the wok and heat gently. When the coating has softened, scrub the wok with a scouring pad until all of the coating is removed and bare metal is reached. Wash and dry the wok. The wok is now ready to season.
Seasoning: Rub the entire surface with a thick coating of vegetable oil. Heat the wok until the oil smokes. Remove from the heat and leave until cold. Wipe off the excess oil with paper towel. Repeat 2 to 3 times. Dry the wok by placing it back on the heat for a minute or two. The wok will blacken with age. This is a natural process.
Cleaning and Care: After use, the wok should be washed in warm water, rinsed and dried well. Store in a dry place. Add a light coating of vegetable oil to re-season. Should the wok rust, simply re-sour and repeat the seasoning instructions.
NOT DISHWASHER SAFE.
